Marble-look bath with pebble mosaic wet area
A bathroom split into two zones: a wet area with a pebble-style mosaic floor around a soaking tub and shower, and a dark tile walkway in front of a double vanity.
The idea was to make the wet side of the room look and feel different underfoot. The rounded mosaic covers the shower and the area around the freestanding tub, and dark rectangular tile takes over where you walk to the vanity.
A low tiled wall separates the shower without closing it in. We capped it with a band of the same mosaic, so the wall ties back to the floor instead of looking like an add-on.
The trickiest part was the line where the mosaic meets the dark tile. Both have to finish at the same height and in a straight line, so that edge was set out first and everything else worked back from it.
